Underage Festival, the ultimate festival for those aged 13-17 years old has announced it return in 2012. Moving from Victoria Park to Shoreditch Park for 2012 it is guaranteed to be the must attend festival for those under 18.

To celebrate 25 years since its release, the icon Paul Simon will play Graceland in it’s entireity this July in London’s Hyde Park. Joined by Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Jimmy Cliff.

The Temper Trap have been confirmed as the 2nd headliner at the 15th annual Truck Festival. Also announced to play are: The Low Anthem, British Sea Power, Guillemots, King Charles & Three Trapped Tigers.

Also, it has been announced the Alcopop Records & Big Scary Monsters will be taking over the Barn Stage for Saturday afternoon and will host: Johnny Foreigner, Tall Ships, Brontide, Talons and much more.

London’s finest The XX are joined by Spritualized, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Colin Stetson and much more still to be confirmed at this years La Route Du Rock Festival. Held in the Northern French coastal town of St Malo, it is a perfect location for Brits to experience a festival in new surroundings. Previous line ups have included Fleet Foxes, The Flaming Lips, Battles and much more, so expect some massive additions in the coming weeks.

We Are Scientists have been confirmed to headline the Sunday night at the Matlock bash. Joining them on the bill are: Reverand And The Makers, Frightened Rabbit, Future Of The Left, Ghost Poet and much more on the main stage. It has also been announced that the second stage will host: Lower Than Atlantis, Rolo Tomassi, The Xcerts, Brontide, Tall Ship and much much more still to be confirmed.

The Wombats have already been confirmed as the Saturday night headliner with The Pigeon Detectives, The Subways & Summer Camp.

Creamfields announces it line up for 2012!

Creamfields returns in 2012 at Daresbury Estate, Cheshire. The first line up announcement cemented its position as being the premiere dance festival in the UK.

Entertaining the tens of thousands of dance/electro/urban fans include: Daivd Guetta, Example, Above & Beyond, Skrillex, Annie Mac, Deadmau5, Calvin Harris, Tiesto and hundreds of other artists across numerous stages.

Mouse headed dance maestro Deadmau5 has confirmed he is bringing the party to London’s Hyde Park on Friday 6th June. Joining Deadmau5 on the bill is: Maverick Sabre, Knife Party, Feed Me & Ms. Dynamite. The Barclaycard Wireless festival is a 3 day electronic and urban festival in the centre of London, also appearing across the weekend are: Drake (Saturday) & Rihanna (Sunday).

New Additions to Sonisphere 2012

Sonisphere, Europes premiere touring festival has added more bands onto their stellar bill of rock and metals finest.

Taking place at the iconic Knebworth park, home to some of rock’s greatest moments, Sonisphere has established itself as one of Britains premiere festivals. This year is no difference, with confirmed headline appearance from Kiss, Queen & Faith No More and also appearances from; Incubus, Marilyn Manson, The Darkness, Evanescene, Refused and much more.

This week Sonisphere were proud to announce some very special new additions. Hardcore pioneers Glassjaw announce a one off performance where they will play their eponymous Worship & Tribute LP in its entirety. Further additions include the first performance of Ideas Above Our Station in its entireity by Hundred Reasons, Black Stone Cherry, Skindred & New Model Army.

The Reading & Leeds Festivals are the jewel in the British festival crown. At 7.15 pm last night we all waited with baited breath to find out who was playing, and as always the initial line up did not disappoint.

Confirmed to be headlining this year are: Kasabian, Foo Fighters & The Cure. Joining them on the main stage across the 3 days include: Paramore, Florence + The Machine, The Black Keys, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Vaccines, Kaiser Chiefs and much much more. The NME/Radio 1 stage will be hosting headline performances from The Maccabees, Justice and the first UK show in over 10 years from the mighty At The Drive In!.

And as announced last week Melvin Benn the festival organiser is planning to give each weekend ticket holder a free burger & beer!
